Busan Port Authority will pursue the following policies in order for Busan Port to leap forward as a "high-value-added global comprehensive port with world-class competitiveness."
First, we will maximize global competitiveness by 'early establishing a smart port system'. We will continue to strengthen Busan Port's status through early establishment of fully automated port infrastructure and data-based analysis and strategic cooperation with major ports.
Second, we will 'leap into a high value-added comprehensive port'. To this end, we will do our best to innovate the management and operation of the hinterland complex, expand overseas logistics bases, build an energy-independent eco-friendly port, and realize a safe human-centered port.
Third, we will implement port management that coexists with the region. We will promote the North Port redevelopment project without a hitch, foster core industries by revitalizing the marine industry cluster, and foster Busan Port as a base for marine tourism by revitalizing international passengers and cruises.
Finally, we will try to create social value through win-win cooperation with local communities and customers using Busan Port through ESG management.
